Apple Invitation For October 23 Media Event

Apple has just send out invitations for the media event next Tuesday, October 23rd. The event is being held in the California Theatre in San Jose and will start at 10:00 AM Pacific.

Many rumours suggest that Apple will be introducing its “iPad mini” at the iBooks focused event. Today leaked part numbers reveal that Apple is planning to introduce at least 24 iPad models which will differ in capacity, connectivity and colour options. Judging by the invitation we may see Red, Orange, Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green iPads.

However, the event could be somewhat mundane if that Apple will just be releasing a tweaked full size iPad which will incorporate Apple’s new Lightning connector. We could possibly see the iPad adopting the A6 processor and LTE connectivity.

In addition to the iPad mini announcement, Apple is said to be introducing a 13″ Retina MacBook Pro and new iMac and Mac mini models. What do you think is going to happen at the Apple event?
